What we collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account or completing your profile: your name, email address, phone number, company information, professional role, and any documents or certificates you upload for verification. We also collect usage data such as jobs you post, materials you list, quotes or orders you submit, messages you send, and community posts you create.
Why we collect it
We use this information to create and secure your account, verify your role and company, match you with relevant jobs, materials, professionals, and equipment, enable messaging and transactions between users, and improve platform functionality. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
How it is stored
Your data is stored in Supabase, our managed backend infrastructure. Access is scoped by row-level security policies and restricted to you, the platform administrators where necessary for verification or support, and other users only where you choose to make information visible.
Google sign-in
Google sign-in is used only for authentication. We receive your Google account email and basic profile information to create or link your Build Sphere account. We do not access your emails, contacts, files, or other Google data without your explicit consent.
Your rights
You can update or delete your account and most profile data from your dashboard at any time. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
Updates to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated as Build Sphere evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
